yuletide is an amazing phenomenon that is completely sideways to the way I enjoy fandom. It doesn't match up with how I enjoy the source material or the fandom I'm currently writing for in any particular.

i'm so happy to see the people who can do it, enjoying it so much. but it's totally not for me.
