Argh, and so often if you ask someone to repeat what they said, they're just as incoherent the second time. Or even the third time. Like they don't get that they might need to slow down and speak very clearly.

I do that guessing-what-they-just-said/asked sometimes. I imagine that the person on the other end of the line is sometimes giving the phone the same strange look that I collect in person from friends and family, lol.
