One fabulous story was written for me: "Lay Your Body Down (And Don't Let Go)". The source of this is Dia Reeves' Bleeding Violet, about a character with bipolar disorder. This story takes place before the novel, and has a gorgeous and painful view of the character's thoughts about her own brain, about whether or not her hallucinations are real.

I also love the only one of the Queen's Thief stories I've read so far, "A Temporary Inability to Go Either Up Or Down". This is how I wish everyone wrote about acquired physical disability -- the mix of pain and loss and how it relates to lives in general, with disability shaping but not defining life.
