Author's Note: Written for Festibility. I play with timelines a bit in this story, and ignore most recent canon events, but Kara, Cassie, and Conner are all around 16 in this fic.
Warnings: Contains some ableist language from a character dealing with a new disability, as well as from a villain. Brief discussion of suicidal urges in the aftermath of a spinal cord injury. Contains discussion of underage sexuality, but no sex scenes.
Summary: All it took was a moment of distraction, and things would never be the same. After an accident, the girl of steel is forced to adapt to a completely different way of life.
