I have been wondering whether part of the problem is that such communities *exist*, but people haven't heard of them or there's not a lot of excitement around them, and that the ones that are really popular and well-known are the more strict exchange-based ones. I have also been wondering how much of that is due to chance, how much due to exchange-based ones simply being more popular, how much due to some other reason...

Clearly, I need to assemble my disabled minions, invade fandom and raise pick-a-prompt challenges up high!
