I remember one of my brothers asked my father of origin why the villains in Dick Tracy (the 1990's film) were so disfigured. He said "because they were so evil that it made them that way."

I was taught a lot of terrible things when I was younger. I still am, by some media.

Yes, this seems to be what mainstream media teaches. I hope we can all unlearn it at least a little.
